Hello. My name is Allana Erickson and I am a journalism student at the University of Arizona. I was born and raised in Casa Grande, a small little town smack in the middle of Phoenix and Tucson. I am writing this blog for borderbeat.net, an online publication that deals with issues on the border and around the world.
My blog will focus on non-prohibit agencies in Southern Arizona. It is design to cater to people who are looking to find place to volunteer or who are looking for help themselves. Around the world we hear stories of every-day people doing extraordinary things to help complete strangers.
